After a long debate on which bike I should be riding to Algeria, I have decided to go for the Suzuki V-strom 800 DE! I was hesitating between this bike which I call “Macau” and the other one which I have which is the great Husqvarna Norden 901, which I call “Dhiba”! both bikes are reliable and great, I have just wrapped up a challenging adventure in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark on the “Dhiba” and she did well. Initially, I was planning to ride Dhiba to Algeria, especially with the branding I have made on her, but however, since I have done 6200 KM last july, I felt to add some fun to change the bike and do it on the “Macau”!
to prepare this bike for an adventure, it was very important to add the crash bars, bigger windscreen, and solid panniers, unlike how it looked in Saudi Arabia, now the bike is super ready for an adventure with a pair of new wheels too! stay tuned until Saturday morning to head to the south until reaching Oran!
