This year has been very very busy yet productive for me, I think the season started along with the start of 2023, when I have attended Qatar Custom show 2023 in Doha, followed by Menea Rally in Algeria, and then riding worldwide started, on this piece I will summarize the whole season until this moment and whatever achievements I had:

May – Tunisia:

An unexpected trip I had to put on the agenda just two weeks before it happened, which initially was supposed to be to Libya, but due to disagreement with the organizers in Libya, I decided to concentrate only on Tunisia, which was a successful tour started from Bonn, through Austria, Italy, then to Tunisia by Ferry for a wonderful 29 hours where I roamed around the country on a real test for my Husqvarna 901 for the first time on a real trip in action! I have reached all the way to south of Tunisia and back to Tunis, where I have sailed for another 29 horrible hours when I got food poisoning from the Sheraton Tunis. On the way back I rode through France and Switzerland.

June – Mongolia:

June wasn’t less stressful than May as I had a longer tour + 2 long flights to Mongolia and back to Germany + 2 jetlags! The three weeks adventure all around Mongolia was stressful because of the Enduro bike I was riding and long traveling hours on daily basis, the main reason of the tour in Mongolia is to scout and plan a new route for potential customers for Moto Garage Tours next season, I consider this tour the highlight of the season as it is a new country, a new experience and a different style of riding along with camping every night for three weeks. The good part is that it was the least where I have been to restaurants of all the countries I have been to. It was a great opportunity for my business to collaborate with Ogi to organize tours there. You will see more of my face around Mongolia this and next year!

July – Qatar, India & Qatar:

It took me just a week rest after the 11 hours flight back from Mongolia to Frankfurt, I barely got over my jetlag and decided to go on my next move which is flying back to Qatar for a week, before making my way to Delhi, and within Delhi another domestic flight to Leh. By reaching Leh, I have gone 3000 meters higher than Earth and started another adventure, this time on a Royal Enfield Classic 500. This is another scouting trip in collaboration with my business partner in India Dr. Aziz, as we are planning to organize tours to Indian Himalayas. In India, I was the only one riding behind a truck on amazing twisty roads until reached 5300 meters of what has been promoted as the highest motorable roads! However, I can confirm it is not the highest but it is one of the top 10 in the world. After Leh, I chose to rest in Delhi for 5 days with a 5-star experience.

August – back and relax

August was the time to settle back to Normal, get back to work and try to achieve more projects to achieve for next season, finish whatever pending tasks and/or plan any unplanned trip could arise! It was the time to recharge, get rid of all the stress and concentrate a bit on Moto Garage tours. I was planning to fly to Qatar for a new project that I will announce soon, but didn’t work yet. I have to mention that soon I will be starting a Podcast with Overland Europe Magazine, not just that, I will be contribute on monthly basis speaking about my trips, gears, comparisons, motorcycling and different bikes, stay tuned!

The season is over but not over yet, as I am an all-year rider. Until then I will share more news!
