We would like to share great adventure story fromKhalid AL-Jaber on his amazing BMW GS 1200 ADV. Khalid shared with us: “I have had a ride of 2760 KM in 4 days, Departed from Doha heading to UAE, crossing it from the very west to the very East to reach Muscat in 1100 KM total, temperature was between 38C minimum and 58C maximum during the day time. Next ride was a midnight ride through the beautiful Omani – UAE mountains to reach Dubai on Eid day where I had a great breakfast at bikers cafe. Moved next morning towards the west where the beginning of let us say the “Tail” of the empty quarter desert which is the second biggest desert in the world. Initially I planned to camp in the desert but temperature was 60C in the afternoon, and i wasn’t recommended by the locals because of snakes and scorpions in the summer, so i stayed at that amazing Anantra hotel there for a night, departed next morning after some adventures on the sand dunes, towards Doha which took me around 850 KM and 9 hours. I have arrived at Qatari borders finding my buddies Harley bikers welcoming me,”
